Did you know that there are several levels of Control Freaks, and studies show that all C.F’ers are not created equally?

Some only try to control their familial relationships with parents, children, spouses, siblings, etc.  Others expand their power to their neighborhood, church or other organizations.  But some will go for the gusto, using their Control Freakiness at work or in their community.  A few even reach for the stars in a public office, where they can wield power over thousands, or even millions!

After all, it’s just a matter scale, isn’t it?

How high you can go is really just up to you.  If you just want to quietly sit in the background and manipulate those around you, in order to get things just right, then by all means, stick to controlling your own family or neighborhood.  But if you’re ready, willing and able, there is no rush quite like using your power over employees, co-workers, fellow church-goers, club members, etc.

You can practice on the people around you, and if done with the right subtlety, they won’t even realize it’s happening.  Sometimes, they’ll even thank you for controlling them.  Yes, it is crazy to realize that some people enjoy being controlled.  Seek out those that are easily controlled, exploiting their weakness for acceptance or their insecurity with decision making.  After awhile, they may just come begging for your assistance in controlling them.

Let’s face it, a lot of people are like dumb sheep and don’t think for themselves, so it is easy to set yourself up as an Authority Figure and show a little empathy for their pathetic existence.  Once you gain their trust and appreciation, you can go about working your magic in their lives, and soon they will be like putty in your hands, waiting to be molded to your specifications.

Being a C.F’er can be so fun!

As you expand your sphere of control, moving into public service is a no-brainer.  There are many positions of Officially Documented Authority which will enable the Control Freak to increase power and influence.  Even if you don’t run for public office, you can enjoy years of Control Freak pleasure as a mid-level bureaucrat, AKA a gov-bot.  Millions do it happily every day.

In summation, choose the level you’re comfortable with, that will afford you the power to satisfy your current and future C.F’er desires, and go for it!  You can always extend your power later, once you are confident in your growing abilities.
